2. Information we collect

We collect the following information when you place an order:

• Contact information: Email address, shipping name, mailing address, and phone number.
• Child personalization data: Child's first name, age, interests, and adventure theme preferences.
• Uploaded photos: Photos you upload of your child, used to generate personalized character artwork.
• Payment information: Processed and stored by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Order data: Product selections, generated artwork, PDF files, and order status history.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically for security and analytics.

3. How we use your information

• Order fulfillment: To generate your personalized coloring book, process payment, print, and ship your order.
• AI generation: Uploaded photos are analyzed by AI services to extract visual attributes (hair color, eye color, etc.) for accurate character generation. Photos are not used to train AI models.
• Communication: To send order confirmations, shipping updates, tracking information, and respond to support requests.
• Security: To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and protect our service.

4. How we share your information

We share your information only with the service providers necessary to fulfill your order:

• Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Lulu: Book printing and shipping. Receives your shipping address and book files.
• Cloudflare R2: Secure cloud storage for uploaded photos and generated book files.
• Google (Gemini AI): Story generation. Receives child name, age, and interests (not photos).
• FAL.ai (Grok Imagine): Image generation. Receives text prompts and uploaded photos for character creation.
• Resend: Email delivery for order updates and shipping notifications.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Our service is designed for parents and guardians to order coloring books for their children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. All orders must be placed by a parent or legal guardian. The child's first name, age, and photo are provided by the parent solely for book personalization.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, contact us immediately at hello@mydreamcolors.com and we will promptly delete it.

6. Data retention

• Order data and generated books: Retained for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide reprint services and customer support.
• Uploaded photos: Stored securely for the duration of order fulfillment and retained afterward to support reprints. You may request deletion at any time.
• Payment records: Retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud storage, and access controls. Uploaded photos and generated files are stored in private cloud buckets with restricted access. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, including uploaded photos and generated books.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
